Benefits of Clove Bud

Most notably, Clove Bud can help keep your space feeling clean as it’s a powerful antimicrobial essential oil. Diffuse or dilute into cleaning blends to take in its unsurpassed cleansing properties. Best known for its warming and numbing properties, Clove Bud is useful when you are experiencing nerve pain, rheumatism, or other inflammatory issues.

There are some cautions to abide by when using Clove Essential Oil. When used topically, keep your dilution under 0.5% to ensure that you do not create an issue on the skin. In addition, we do not recommend using Clove Bud topically if you have damaged (wounds, scrapes, etc.) or sensitive skin.

Ways to Use

Do you have Clove Bud in your essential oil collection? Here are a few ways you can incorporate Clove Bud Essential Oil into your home. For aching joints and muscles, dilute Clove Bud to a maximum of 0.5% into a carrier of your choice. Rubbing this into those joints can encourage warmth and help increase circulation.

For a warm yet refreshing diffuser blend, combine 1 drop Clove Bud, 4 drops Sweet Orange, 2 drops Cinnamon Leaf, and 3 drops Black Spruce. This is one of our favorite blends to diffuse during the fall season and can even help protect against illness during the winter months.
