    1. I’m sorry to hear that, Clarie! This might sound extreme, but have you tried using a wrench? You may also be able to pop it off using the sharp end of a knife (carefully!!!) and using it as leverage for getting the bottom off. Sometimes you really have to get creative when they get a bit too snug πŸ™‚

      1. After pushing REALLY HARD, I was able to get the bottom to pop out with a long paperclip. They aren’t so expensive that just tossing them away is a problem when they don’t open back up. Thanks for the follow-up.

  1. So glad I watched this! I just ordered some inhalers and was unsure about how they would work. Is there a video/ are you going to make a video with the fancier inhalers? The aluminum ones with the glass?

  2. Hi, is the refill in this video same like the one from PT? Because it does not look same.. mine just arrived yesterday from PT and its very small /thinner. Thus unable to stand on its own on the bottom of the inhaler.. thanks

  3. Do you do this to the other inhalers on your website??? Sorry the fancy ones?? Or keep them in the glass tube while dropping oils on the wick??

    1. Trista, you can fill the wick however it makes you feel comfortable. For the aluminum inhalers, I personally like to add the oils to the wick while it is inside the glass, just because the wick fits in there so snuggly πŸ™‚

  4. This video was great! I just bought these from the bargain bin and am very happy to see this step by step video on how to use them! Thank you! I am assuming the label was envelope address labels cut in half, if not that is what I plan to use πŸ™‚

  5. This was super helpful, especially the tip about opening it up with the paperclip. I saw comments on the reviews for the inhalers that said it was almost impossible to open them up to recharge. I’m glad I check the blog and had an opportunity to learn from this post. Thanks so much!

PS… I’ve gone totally nuts mixing these things up for the family, they LOVE them.

  6. So after you have prepared the inhaler how do you actually use it? Take the top off put it up to your nose and sniff? Deep breaths? How many? Thank u! ☺️

      1. I just gave my 5 year old an inhaler – is the two or three deep breaths for him with Nighty Night also a good rule? Every few minutes? I don’t want him to over do it.
