    1. The Everclear acts as both an emulsifier and preservative in this recipe. If you were to swap it out with Apple Cider Vinegar, you would also need to add Polysorbate 20 to emulsify your oils and store it in the fridge and use within a week. Otherwise, you’d also need to add a preservative.

  • Love the recipe! I have a question…in one of your live videos, there was an oil mentioned that helps with her husband’s hair growth. Was it rosemary? I can’t remenber and I’m dying to try it! Thanks!

  • This aftershave sounds amazing. I’ll be making this not only for my husband and sons but as Christmas gifts for the men at work. Great idea at a great time!

  • Thanks PT. This came right at great time. My son works off shore and had just told me he forgot his razor this hitch and sent me a picture of himself. Lol. I told him no worries it’s No Shave November. Son I ordered the shaving kits for both of my sons and they love the oil and balm.

  • I just entered my son’s scruffy and scraggly ginger beard! He’s so proud of it but has no idea how to take care of it or what to use to do so. This is the perfect opportunity to get him a great gift for either his birthday (Dec 18th) or Christmas! 😀 My fingers are crossed!! 😀

  • Thanks for the give away! I have a bearded hubby at home! What oil do you recommend most as a carrier oil for making beard oil?

    1. Heather, Jojoba Carrier is a wonderful choice that doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy feeling. To make it even better, you can try mixing in some Almond or Argan Oil, too. You may have to play with it a bit to find the right qualities you’re looking for 🙂
