Meet Our Sets: Top 14 Singles Set!

Top 14 Singles Set

For anyone looking to build up their essential oil, sets really are the way to go! You’ll find all the basics you need to start your oily journey. Or maybe you just need to replenish some of your most loved oils along the way.

The Top 14 Singles Set is an excellent place to start. As the name suggests, it includes 14 of the most popular, useful and versatile essential oils that Plant Therapy offers. But probably the best reason to spring for a set is that you’ll save 37% when you buy the set versus purchasing each oil individually.

So let’s take a look at each oil included in the set and what makes each one of them amazing must-haves.

The Citruses: Bergamot, Lime, Grapefruit Pink, Lemon, Orange Sweet

First things first, let’s talk about the citrus oils. These little beauties are some of the most versatile and most loved in the set. Lemon alone has a variety of uses. It’s bright and uplifting aroma is perfect for an energizing diffuser blend. Or use it in some DIY cleaning recipes. Bergamot is another fan favorite. With a fruity and floral aroma, it can help ease worry, soothe skin blemishes and relieve stomach discomfort. Grapefruit Pink is another energizing oil that can help lift mental fatigue and brighten the mood. Check some of these other posts for an in-depth look at their benefits.

The Florals: Lavender, Clary Sage

There might be only two floral oils in the Top 14 Singles Set, but that’s okay. They really pack a punch! Figuratively speaking, that is. Lavender is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils out there. Its sweet and herbaceous aroma is instantly recognizable. In addition to being a go-to oil for stress relief, it can also aid in sleep, soothe sunburns, act as a deodorizer, and promote healthy skin. Clary Sage is an equally amazing essential oil. It’s one of the best oils to help with women’s issues and can also help ease the symptoms of anxiety and depression. When diffused, it helps create a calming atmosphere that can help stabilize your mood.

The Herbs & Spices: Cinnamon Cassia, Rosemary 1,8-Cineole, Peppermint, Spearmint

The herb and spice oils included with this set will all have very distinct and recognizable aromas. Cinnamon Cassia’s warm and spicy aroma brings to mind everything fall. Rosemary, in addition to being useful in cleaning recipes, is also a great oil when you’re looking to boost your brain and increase memory. It can also reduce pain, relax muscles and ease stress. Let’s not forget about Peppermint and Spearmint! Both cool and minty oils are excellent for soothing tummy troubles and perking up your mood. If you have young children, Spearmint is the milder, more suitable option.

Everything Inbetween: Patchouli, Eucalyptus Globulus, Tea Tree

Just because these oils come last, doesn’t mean they’re any less important. Quite the opposite! Patchouli is one of those oils that people either love or hate. It has a rich, earthy, and woody aroma that is a staple in many men’s fragrances. Plus, it’s another wonderful oil for easing worry and nervous tension. Or use it as a natural shoe deodorizer. Just fill an old tube sock with baking soda, add Lemon and Patchouli and tuck the sock into your shoes. Tea Tree is also useful for deodorizing and cleaning. Add a few drops to your laundry to keep things smelling fresh. Or use it in your skincare routine to help fight blemishes. And lastly, Eucalyptus Globulus is known for its relaxing and pain reducing benefits. It also helps to break up mucus and other congestion issues.

  1. Love this set! It was my first order from Plant Therapy and it provided all the basic oils I needed to start my collection, definetly recommend!

  2. This was great information to read about some of my most used oils! The information on patchouli was very helpful as I plan on adding this oil to my collection soon. I would like to be informed on more ways I can use cinnamon though. I have this oil from my 7&7 set and I do not know how to use it. Help would be appreciated! Thanks for all the great info!

  3. It’s a great set, however, for more customization, I’d really like to see a “choose so many oils as a set (maybe even in a gift box?), get a discount” option. I like the idea of sending oils as a gift, but I’m limited to sending the gift boxes with already chosen oils vs. what I’d like to send. Individually wrapped oils in a bag doesn’t look as nice as in a gift box. It’d be a nice option for the undiluted ones, as well as the blends and roll-ons.

  4. I love learning new things about EOs. This was my first purchase from PL and I love all the products thus far! Thank you for having such a wonderful brand and information!

  5. Super great deal! This was the first set I ordered when trying Plant Therapy, Loved the set so I keep buying it!

  6. This is a beautifull set to give to my mom for her birthday. She is just starting to use essential oils and this set got just about al the great starter oils.

  7. This is a great way to try new oils at a discount….and to build up my “stash”. Hoping to see even more sets coming soon (hint hint, lol).

  8. Best set to start out with. This was one of my first purchases and, later, bought a build your own set with similar ones to give to my Mom. This set really allowed me to choose the ones I wanted to repurchase and use on a regular basis. I love Plant Therapy.

  9. This is going to be my next purchase! I’m going to replace the set I spent an unfortunate amount of money on before learning they are fake. I love PT for being a company I can trust, and for being so transparent with their customers regarding quality control.
