Our new Summer Dreams set captures the best parts of summer. You can enjoy the scents that remind you of a relaxing trip to the mountains, the feel the sun on your skin and the joy of all your summer activities.
Mountain Air is a soothing combination of Bergamot, Lemon, Roman Chamomile, Cedarwood Atlas, and Lavender. You’ll find yourself instantly transported to your favorite lake in the woods. If you want something a little brighter, try the bright citrusy notes of Endless Summer. You’ll enjoy the aromas of Pink Grapefruit, Lemon and Lime Steam Distilled, Sweet Orange, Mandarin, and Ylang Ylang. And lastly, there’s the sweet and citrusy blend of Sun Kissed. May Chang, Lavender, and Peru Balsam combine for a calming, supportive blend.
No matter which blend is your favorite (it’s so hard to choose!), you can keep the aroma with you throughout the day. All you need is your chosen blend, a 100 mL spray bottle and some Everclear to make this Summer Dreams Body Spray. Combine the ingredients in the bottle, shake and spray!

Do you use distilled water or is plain tap water okay? Thank you.
Plain tap water is just fine!
i am new to this and confused. I thought a mixture with water needs preservative. Does the Everclear act as that preservative?
It does! As long as the Everclear is at least 25% of the total spray, it acts as the preservative and emulsifier.
I do wish you would make the formulas for the people in the good old USA and use ounces instead of ML’s!!! It would save time and energy.
Maybe you could put both with one in ().
Thanks,
Mary
Hi. Can you explain the measurements or give examples. How many ounce bottle to drops or ratio equivalent to ml, a comparison and or basic rule trying to learn “general standards”. I will be investing in a weight scale. But I really would like to understand better… Sorry I know this might sound crazy…♀️
Don’t worry, it can be a bit overwhelming at first. This post has a very helpful dilution chart as well as some basic conversions that are very useful. For example, 30 mL is equal to one ounce. It should be enough to get you started. And you can always reach out to our team of aromatherapists at [email protected].
I just received these oils, they smell amazing
I actually have all the supplies to do this! I love the Mountain Air blend.
You can’t buy Everclear where I live. Is there an alternative that can be used. Thank you.
Hi Alison! You could also use the highest proof vodka you can legally purchase in your area. I hope that helps!
What is Everclear?
Everclear is a high-proof grain alcohol that is very good for making sprays like this. You can learn more about Everclear and why it’s so good for aromatic blending here.
I would love to try this.but I can’t find everclear anywhere is there anything else I can use.thank you.
You can use the highest proof vodka you can find instead. However, it may not be strong enough to act as a preservative. So you can either store it in the fridge and use within a week or add a preservative.
Ohhhhh, sounds great! I think I know what I am doing this afternoon.
Can’t wait to try this! Thanks for another great use of your summertime blends ❤️
I live in California and can only get 120 proof everclear. What adjustments can I make to this recipe to make it safe?
Hi Beverly, while the 120 proof is sufficient at 25-30% to preserve your waterbased product, it will not properly disperse your essential oils. You can add Solubol or Polysorbate 20 to disperse the essential oils for you.
