There are so many incredible ways to enjoy essential oils. You can use them in your diffuser, take them on the road in a personal inhaler or use them in your favorite lotions. Another fun and easy way to take advantage of the many benefits of essential oils is in a room spray! This Palo Santo Calm & Cleanse Blend will be just what you need to cleanse the air of negative thoughts and encourage a calm environment. Palo Santo is well known for its ability to ward off negativity and provide a grounding and calm atmosphere. Amyris, with a woody, peppery balsamic aroma, is wonderful for relaxation. Sandalwood Australian helps relieve tension and Vetiver calms the mind. The result is a delightfully woodsy aroma that can be used on your linens or just as a room spray.

This is nearly 5ml of essential oils in 4oz – is that correct? I made this blend and love it, but that seems like a lot of oils for the spray. Also, with the everclear, shouldn’t it last longer than a two weeks? Thank you!
I can see how that sounds like a lot! The 4 oz used in the spray is equal to 118 mL, making the recipe about a 4% dilution.
And yes, as long as the Everclear is more than 25% of your total mixture, it will act as a preservative and make the shelf life longer than two weeks.
Just got palo Santo the other day, excited to try this out!
I love the idea of turning this into a master blend and using in the diffuser. I think I’ll try some tonight!
Oh I am definitely making a master blend of this to use for diffuser. It sounds completely amazing
How long will this spray last if refrigerated?
I would use within a week or two.
This sounds fantastic! I can’t wait to try it!! I think it could be modified for use in a diffuser or as a master blend.
Will this need a preservative, since it contains water?
The Everclear in this recipe acts as both a preservative and an emulsifier.
