How to Tackle Spring Projects with Our Spring Blends

Plant Therapy Everything Spring Essential Oil Blends Set

Hello, spring! You heard it, winter is out the door and spring is coming in full force. And Plant Therapy is very excited to get the spring festivities started! There are so many fun things to do this time of year. You can dye eggs (have you ever tried natural egg dying?), plant all kinds of different plants in the garden (while using essential oils to maintain your garden), and most importantly, enjoy the fresh air from open windows or long walks in the park. Now, while we love to think about the joy and new life this season brings, it is also important to prepare for some of the not-so-fun things spring has to offer… like spring cleaning and seasonal allergies. Lucky for you, we’ve got some exciting new spring blends to make life a little bit easier.

Plant Therapy is so excited to introduce two completely new spring blends: Rainy Days and Spring Dawn. And of course, customer-favorite Fresh Meadow is back for a limited time only! You can score all three spring blends in our limited-edition Everything Spring Set.

Plant Therapy Rainy Days Essential Oil Blend

Rainy Days

Rainy Days is a soft and sweet essential oil blend with a damp, earthy, fir-like undertone. Orange Essence, Copaiba Oleoresin, Lemon, Fir Needle, Amyris, Ho Wood, and Coriander combine to make a blend reminiscent of spring days and gentle warm rain showers. It makes a fabulous additive in this easy to make dusting spray that will help prevent dust from gathering on your furniture. As an added bonus, Rainy Days is also excellent for helping loosen up some of that springtime stuffiness and easing your breathing.

  1. I don’t have jojoba, what other carrier oil would be safe to use on furniture? I currenly have hemp, grape seed and sunflower.

  2. The recipe of Spring Dawn Room & Linen Spray shows “100 drops of Spring Dawn”. May I check if the number is a typo error or ? I think 100 drops looks quite over the top ^^’; I took a second look.

    1. Hi Sharon! The number is not a typo. In this recipe, 100 drops is equal to about a 2.5-3% dilution. You could always make a smaller batch by halving the recipe.

  3. I love being energized by these wonderful essential oils while I clean the house. The harsh chemicals always made me feel bad but now I feel great after cleaning the house and it smells great, too!

  4. I can’t wait to make some linen spray! This sounds fabulous. For some reason I have not found a good DIY for room and linen spray.

  5. Thanks for this post! I especially love the dusting spray. Would work perfect for furniture and hardwood floors. 🙂

    1. It shouldn’t stain and actually evaporates quite quickly. If you’re worried about staining from the essential oils, you could test it out on an old pillowcase to be sure.

  6. Very intrigued with the Spring Dawn blend. I am not familiar with Magnolia flower EO, but I hope to be soon!

  7. I am now stepping up my game with essentials oil because of coronavirus pandemic. I will give these a dry in the near future. Germ Fighter is awesome!

  8. The fresh meadow carpet deodorizer sounds like it would be great in my car. I have hard wood floors so there is not a lot of option in the house.

  9. Rainy Days especially sounds uplifting. After a winter of wood heat, it’s time for spring cleaning. I’ll be adding this to my wall and furniture cleaner, for sure!

  10. Spring is my favorite time of year (also the season I was born!) can’t wait to try these so I can have the feeling of spring year round!

  11. Fresh spring blends are making long days cooped up inside the house so much more bearable! Thank you!!

  12. I use the germ destroyer when I leave my home. I use my diffuser on a regular basis with my various essential oils!

  13. So thankful for Plant Therapy essential oils! While so many are scrambling for store bought cleaners, I’m reaching for my essential oils ♥️

  14. I never would have ever thought to use to freshen up carpet. I add a few drops to vacuum filter but love the idea of baking soda!

  15. “*Store in the fridge and use within a couple weeks. If you want, you can add a preservative to prolong shelf life,” are the directions for the Rainy Day Dusting Spray. I am curious what ingredient goes bad so quickly. Thanks.

    1. Any time essential oils and water mix, you’ll need a preservative to prevent the growth of mold or bacteria. This normal with water-based recipes.

    1. I have officially become a true fan of essential oils all new products i will for sure want to get my hands on. From Lavender to Lemon and good tea tree oil
