This Puts the “fruit” in Tutti Fruitti

Tutti Fruitti gets its signature scent from three different ingredients. Orange Essence has an intense, fresh citrus scent that helps energize your mind while simultaneously instilling a sense of calm and relief. Because the essence is distilled from the juice itself as opposed to the peel, Orange Essence differs from Sweet Orange with its strong, effervescent, juicy top note, but the same therapeutic benefits we know and love. The Orange Terpenes (an isolate of Orange Essential Oil) help expand on the fruity orange aroma and give it even more complexity. Pink Grapefruit also lends its bright, sparkly citrus aroma to this blend.

While you might find it more difficult to detect the scents of Tutti Fruitti’s non-citrus ingredients, they are still integral components that really make this blend pop! Geranium, Spearmint, Anise, Buchu, and Basil all offer their subtle herbal and floral notes. The result is a delightfully fruity and complex blend for spring.

  1. My absolute favourite Oil of the Month ever! In fact, my favourite oil blend of all time – I want it in buckets and have to fight my 12 year old daughter who keeps stealing it for her room – bestest!!

  2. This was my first OOTM and I loved the packaging and experience of receiving OOTM. It felt like such a treat. And this oil is so cheerful and uplifting – perfect for Spring/Summer!

  3. Is the solid coconut oil a must in this recipe? I purchased a Shea Butter Soap Base so I was wondering if the coconut oil was used to bind the ingredients or for its skin benefits.

    1. The coconut oil helps with the overall texture and also adds an extra bit of skin nourishment to the recipe, especially if the melt and pour soap is a little more drying. If you try it without the coconut oil, be sure to let us know how it turns out!

  4. This is my first OOTM. What a great introduction to the monthly subscription. Citrus oils are also my fave!

  5. I have already thoroughly enjoyed Tutti Fruitti bubble baths several times this month. Great pick me up for these cold rainy days.

  6. I will have to try the Tutti Frutti body scrub it sounds amazing and i love citrus scents. I will be making the scrub plus soap and add to unscented lotion.

  7. Orange Essence and Orange Terpenes are not quite essential oil, I understand, but are Pink Grapefruit, Geranium, Spearmint, Anise, Buchu, Basil, and Eucalyptus that in this synergy essential oils?

    1. Orange Essence is still an oil with therapeutic benefits, it’s just made from the fruit juice as opposed to the peel which results in a juicier scent. And Orange Terpenes are isolated from Orange essential oils specifically for their aroma. But to answer your question, every other oil in the blend is an essential oil in the traditional sense.
