  1. Winter wreath for a room spray would be nice. My favorite diy gifts are the essential oil starter kit I am making now.

  2. I can’t wait to try holly berries and sugar plum. I love Christmas tree. I really wish they would bring back the spiced cider blend to their holiday line. I snagged several earlier this year when they brought it back. I was so hopeful that they’d bring it back for good. It’s a holiday staple in our home. Love PT , I’m excited about some of the new blends. Also wishing I had ordered more of the fall blends

  3. I love Christmas smells. I have asked for some of these Christmas blends for Christmas and I can’t wait to smell them. I always have a fir candle or an apple spiced candle burning around Christmas time.

  4. I want to try the Christmas Tree smell. Christmas smells are my favorite and I love trying and making new things. I always have a fir candle or spiced apply pie candle burning around Christmas time.

  5. I want to have winter wreath on hand this season. The great smell and respiratory benefits will be perfect for the season!

    1. Hi Besty, we didn’t test the DIY with vegetable-based gelatin alternatives, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work! If you do try it with a gelatin alternative, let us know how it turns out.

  6. It’s brilliant! Only the thing is though, I would not like to use gelatin even if I’m not eating it. If you have vegan-friendly version, please share it. Thank you.

    1. Hi Kay, we didn’t test the DIY with vegetable-based gelatin alternatives, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work! If you do try it with a gelatin alternative, let us know how it turns out.

  7. I just received the holiday bundle and they all smell good….I especially love the minty smells. Very clean and fresh. I bet they’d all be good. Anything you can make, gives you a greater appreciation to all those who share their wonderful ideas and those who provide such great products.

  8. I love this idea. I can’t wait to try it with several of the seasonal blends! It will be hard to decide which scents to try.

  9. Love the gelatin freshener idea! It’s budget and kid craft friendly. Using 8oz jars with a potpourri jar insert with a simple twine/raffia bow makes a lovely gift. I’m going to be sneaky and make people smell my new EOs to see what they like.

(I’m glad I read the text and not just the recipe, or I would have missed what you term as “shelf life.”; I’m assuming that translates to scent life. For me it means making sure I give at least 2.)

    Anywaaaay thanks again!

    1. Hi Elaina! While shelf life can mean scent life, in this case it actually does mean that the air fresheners will go bad as it combines water and essential oils. If you wanted to add a preservative, that would help! Otherwise, just be prepared to toss it after a week or two.

    1. Christmas Tree, Holly Berries, Sugar Plum and Winter Wreath are all KidSafe! As for people who are sensitive to smells, it’s more difficult to say as everyone’s sniffer is different. Although KidSafe oils are usually a good place to start as they don’t have some of the more intense or irritating oils like Cinnamon.

  10. My husband absolutely loves the Holly Berry. He usually doesn’t like scents that have citrus scents but the blend of fresh winters smells really makes it enjoyable for him!

  11. Just getting ready to place my first order. So many items to choose from.
The Christmas product line looks so amazing, so I will just have to try them all!

  12. I love Plant Therapy products, thanks to Royce Gunnell! I was having a major migraine and she had me try the Peppermint Oil and in 20 minutes it was gone. I am purchasing stuff like crazy because I am a true believer, now. I love the scents and the DIY recipe ideas. Thanks, Plant Therapy, your products are amazing! I am eager to try, try, try everything.

  13. I’m making these to take as hostess gifts to our various Thanksgiving and Christmas parties!! I’ll make one of each scent to give and then make the ones I like best to use in our house!

  14. I’m kinda really excited about making the room scent. It’s going to be a perfect way to infuse my home with some holiday cheer in a winter that will surely need the extra boost. I’m thinking it’ll also make some great grift giving!

  15. I ordered Christmas Tree, Winter wreath and Holly Berries and wow they all smell amazing! I can’t wait to try the DIY air freshener. I wish gingerbread was kid safe because that’s a favorite favorite smell of mine 🙂

  16. I’ve never used essential oils for seasonal fragrances. I’m excited about the idea of replacing my artificially scented candles and refresher oils with something natural! It sounds like Winter Wreath will be perfect for me. 🙂

  17. I was just about to purchase the fall blend set, but then saw your Christmas stuff out, if I was just going to purchase one of the sets for the upcoming seasons, which would you recommend?

    1. Oh goodness, they’re both so wonderful, it’s hard to choose! One option you have is to make a custom 3-set for the fall blends and then again for the holiday blends (make sure to use the promo codes!). Then you’ll get the best of both worlds. It all depends on whether you prefer the warm, spicy and outdoorsy scents of the fall blends or the sweet, coniferous and minty aromas of the holiday blends. Either way, you can’t go wrong! Keep in mind that you only have a couple more days to purchase the fall blends.

  18. This sounds great. I placed my first order with Plant Therapy today, I have always used Young Living so I am excited to see if I like this brand as well.

  19. So awesome to try a new way of enjoying my oils. I’ve been using PT for many many years and I love them for my family too.

    1. We used 8-ounce jars. But you could use whatever size you want and fill up multiple smaller jars or fewer larger jars.
