This Star Wars Day, we’re paying tribute to our favorite new addition to the Star Wars universe, The Mandalorian! Whether you’re going old school this year and rewatching the original trilogy or binging Baby Yoda, we have fun DIY Baby Yoda Lotion Bars for you and the family to enjoy. All you need are a few staple DIY ingredients, a silicone mold, and a wonderful blend of essential oils. The bright zest of Lime is balanced with the more grounding, earthy notes of Cedarwood, Vetiver, and Patchouli. It captures the playfulness and power of Baby Yoda (aka Grogu).

What you’ll need:

Melt Beeswax Pearls, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, and Almond Oil over a double boiler until fully melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, but not harden. Add in green mica if desired. Add Vitamin E and essential oils, saving the Lime for last. Pour into mold and allow to cool. Use lotion bars to moisturize your skin.

  • I’m interested in the reason(s) for adding the citrus EO last. Is that an across-the-board standard for EO mixes or specific to this recipe for some reason? Thanks!

    1. Because citruses are top notes and evaporate quicker, adding them last allows even more time for the mixture to cool and helps keep the Lime from being affected by the heat.
